Job summary

Brother International Corporation is seeking a Senior Specialist, Data Governance to lead data consistency, quality, and protection within our governance framework. You will work with cross‑functional teams to drive compliant, high‑quality data and enable data‑driven outcomes.

The role reports to a Senior Manager, Data Governance and supports process improvements, training, and governance metrics in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in data management, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in data governance and data management roles.
• Experience leading cross‑functional data governance projects.
• Strong knowledge of data policies, standards, and lifecycle (CRUD).
• Excellent communication and collaboration across levels and teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT, data management, and business units to gather requirements.
• Lead data governance initiatives and ensure policy adherence across teams.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries and artifacts on a quarterly basis.
• Support audits and compliance with data privacy regulations.
