Job summary

Info Origin Inc. is seeking a Data Governance Analyst in Nashville for a hybrid, contract-based role.

The position will support agency-wide governance, data quality, metadata management, and data sharing initiatives while collaborating with data owners, stewards, and Legal to ensure data is documented, protected, and governed. The role requires experience in governance-related tools, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives, KPI tracking, and training delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Informatica EDC or similar.
• 2+ years relationship management/data stewardship.
• 3+ years project oversight and root-cause analysis.
• 4+ years critical thinking, communication, and time management.
• Experience with data governance, metadata, and data quality.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Data lineage experience is highly desired.
• Understanding of the data analysis lifecycle is highly desired.
• Strong collaboration, integrity, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support data governance policies, SOPs, and stewardship programs.
• Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, data catalogs, and Dataset Reference Sheets.
• Manage data quality rules and track data quality issues.
• Review and coordinate internal/external data sharing requests.
• Maintain audit trails and support Data Sharing Agreements.
• Support data classification, retention, access, and security requirements.
• Develop and deliver data governance and data literacy training.
• Create governance guides, templates, and job aids.
• Track governance KPIs, SLAs, and data quality metrics.
• Work with data owners, stewards, custodians, and program leaders.
• Support continuous improvement of the agency data governance framework.
