Eide Bailly is seeking a Data Governance Manager to lead governance initiatives in Minneapolis, MN or Fargo, ND with remote or hybrid arrangements. You will implement governance strategy across the data estate, ensuring data is discoverable, trusted, and secure while coordinating with owners, stewards, and IT security.

The role requires 6+ years in data governance/analytics, degree in a related field, and hands-on work with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Synapse, and Azure data services.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Data Eng/Architecture/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive data governance, analytics, security, or related tech experience.
• Experience administering analytics platforms including Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Experience with data governance, security, access controls, and platform administration.
• SQL, Python or similar technical skills preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, OneLake and workspace admin.
• Knowledge of metadata management, glossaries, lineage, stewardship, and catalog.
• Experience administering SharePoint and secure unstructured content.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure security, service principals, PAM, identity governance.
• Ability to analyze governance, security, and compliance risks and implement solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Execute and monitor enterprise data governance policies across data and analytics.
• Administer the data governance platform including catalogs, glossaries, lineage.
• Partner with Data Owners, Stewards, and Readers to promote governance adoption.
• Facilitate creation and maintenance of data products, governance docs, and workflows.
• Serve as Microsoft Fabric Tenant Administrator and oversee capacity management.
• Monitor usage and data access patterns; advise on security and governance best practices.
• Collaborate with IT Security on data classification, DLP, and related controls.
• Administer access management controls including OneLake security and RBAC.
• Conduct access reviews and audits for zero trust and least privilege.
• Monitor telemetry, audits, metrics for governance and compliance.
• Support governance maturity initiatives and roadmaps.
• Participate in governance councils and cross-functional initiatives.
• Escalation point for complex governance issues requiring cross-functional coordination.
• Support governance standards for AI-enabled solutions and automation.
• Ensure timely and accurate performance on projects.
• Maintain compliance with budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.
