Job summary

Oracle is seeking a detail-oriented Data Quality & Governance Analyst to strengthen enterprise data integrity and enable smarter decision-making. This onsite Nashville role focuses on governance, profiling, cleansing, and stewardship across master data domains, with collaboration across finance, risk, and delivery teams.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in data quality/governance, expertise in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI), and a strong ability to translate complex data issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field.
• Eight or more years of experience in data quality, governance, or related discipline.
• Experience resolving complex data-quality issues across multiple systems.
• Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and governance.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar data-visualization tools.
• Experience with enterprise systems like ERP, CRM, or data warehouses.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-quality assessments and improvement initiatives across enterprise and master data domains.
• Profile, validate, cleanse, reconcile, and monitor data to identify gaps and inconsistencies.
• Investigate root causes of data-quality problems with stakeholders.
• Serve as data steward for assigned data domains, defining ownership and rules.
• Develop data-quality metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and remediation tracking.
• Partner with business, finance, delivery, and risk teams to improve governance.
• Design and maintain unified data models and master-data processes.
• Document data flows, critical elements, lineage, and operating procedures.
• Improve data-entry controls to prevent errors at the source.
• Translate issues into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
