Job summary

Cincinnati State is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to support institution-wide data standards, quality, and reporting. You will collaborate with data stewards, maintain data dictionaries, and assist in FERPA/GDPR compliance while supporting the college’s reporting environment.

The role emphasizes technical support, documentation, and cross-team collaboration, reporting to the ERP Colleague Supervisor. Exempt, full-time with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Data governance frameworks, policies, standards and procedures.
• Create/maintain data dictionaries, glossaries and metadata.
• Document data definitions, ownership and retention rules.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data quality and root causes across enterprise systems.
• Support FERPA and regulatory requirements (GDPR where applicable).
• Maintain and enhance the college’s reporting environment (Informer).
• Provide training on data standards to campus users.
