Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Governance, Policy & Control Specialist to drive enterprise-wide data governance, policy management, and control enforcement across the organization.

You will lead policy lifecycle, oversee governance implementations, coordinate audits, and build a data stewardship program. The role requires experience with regulatory frameworks and strong collaboration across business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance, risk, compliance, or policy/controls roles.
• Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, insurance, telecom, etc.).
• Experience running change management, training programs, or culture-building initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, review, implementation, and renewal of data governance policies, standards, frameworks, and procedures.
• Oversee enterprise-wide implementation of data governance initiatives and monitor compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits related to the Enterprise Data Office.
• Implement the enterprise data stewardship program, defining data ownership across domains.
• Design and implement data governance controls to monitor policy compliance and conduct control testing and gap analyses.
• Design and deliver data governance training and embed governance into workflows.
