Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a data scientist to unlock insights from large, structured and unstructured data, including IoT, ML, and AI. You’ll collaborate with clients across sectors to translate questions into data-driven solutions, lead algorithm development, and guide teammates to produce objective answers that support informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing metadata governance frameworks for structured and unstructured data in cloud-based environments.
• Experience with tracking data lineage and ensuring metadata synchronization across a Data Catalog, ESRI Kubernetes, and enterprise metadata repositories.
• Experience with utilizing OpenLineage, Apache Atlas, or tools for metadata and data lineage management.
• Experience in enforcing compliance with DoD metadata policies and NSG tradecraft standards for geospatial datasets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Management, or Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or geospatial data integration in lieu of a degree.

• Lead the development of algorithms and systems to turn large data sets into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with clients to understand questions and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Guide teammates and manage data science projects from concept to deployment.
