Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Data Governance and Metadata Scientist to unlock insights from large data sets across IoT, ML, and AI initiatives. You will lead metadata governance, data lineage, and policy enforcement in cloud environments.

Collaborate with clients to define questions, guide teams, and develop algorithms and systems that turn disparate data points into objective answers to inform decisions. Some in-person work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing metadata governance frameworks for structured and unstructured data in cloud environments.
• Experience tracking data lineage and metadata synchronization across a Data Catalog, ESRI Kubernetes, and enterprise metadata repositories.
• Experience with OpenLineage, Apache Atlas, or tools for metadata and data lineage management.
• Experience in enforcing DoD metadata policies and NSG tradecraft standards for geospatial datasets.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, or GIS, or 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or geospatial data integration in lieu of a degree.
