Job summary

enGen is seeking an experienced Data Governance Director to lead the data governance program across multiple domains, aligning data products with enterprise standards and governance councils. You will drive strategy, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies.

The role emphasizes stakeholder communication, risk assessment, and continuous improvement to deliver trusted data assets and actionable insights for IT projects and business partners.

Qualifications

• 5 years in a leadership / mentoring role
• 5 years of planning, implementing, maintaining and growing capabilities within relevant discipline
• 3 years of developing, communicating and presenting concepts to varying audience

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization; manage customer expectations and coordinate with staff and outside entities
• Identify issues and recommend solutions; create and present concepts to clients across varying audiences
• Ensure continuous improvement of processes and delivery of results within the assigned unit/area
• Organize and coordinate governance activities across staff not under direct managerial control
• Oversee departmental budgeting, compliance with policies and regulations, and development of short- and long-term plans
