Job summary

FSR, LLC. seeks a Senior Data Governance professional in the Washington, DC area to lead enterprise data governance initiatives using Microsoft Purview.

You will configure governance policies, drive metadata management, and collaborate with data owners and technical teams to ensure data quality and security. The role requires 7+ years of governance experience, US citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Clearance: US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust.
• Hybrid location in Washington, DC metro area.
• 7+ years of data governance/management experience with a Bachelor's.
• Hands-on Purview administration (catalog, classification, lineage, glossary).
• Deep knowledge of metadata management, data security, quality, and stewardship frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional leadership.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

• Configure and administer Microsoft Purview for governance and cataloging.
• Oversee enterprise data catalog, business glossary, and metadata management.
