NetApp is seeking a Data Governance Lead to partner with business stakeholders, implement governance best practices, and mature data governance across applications, analytics, and AI use cases.

The role requires broad business and technology acumen, coaching across a distributed stewardship community, and the ability to translate governance principles into practical outcomes that improve data quality and trust across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in data governance, data management, analytics enablement, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders and translating governance into practical actions.

Responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve governance processes across analytics, AI use cases, data platforms, and applications.
• Guide distributed stewardship communities and mentor data owners and stewards.
• Embed governance requirements into platforms, reporting solutions, and decision-making processes.
• Lead stakeholder alignment and influence without formal authority to achieve outcomes.
• Develop clear governance messages, training materials, and learning resources.
