Job summary

NetApp seeks a Data Governance Lead to partner with business stakeholders to implement, optimize, and mature governance across applications, analytics, AI use cases, data platforms, and enterprise processes. This role builds strong partnerships, guides a distributed stewardship community, and continuously improves data quality, usability, and trust across the organization.

The successful candidate will have 10–15 years of governance experience in global environments and a Bachelor's degree;

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in data governance or related fields.
• Experience in governance, analytics enablement, or enterprise applications across global organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree and certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise governance execution to improve analytics, AI readiness, and application outcomes.
• Partner with owners and leaders to embed governance in platforms and reporting solutions.
• Guide a distributed stewardship community with playbooks and learning materials.
• Influence stakeholders to align priorities and drive adoption without formal authority.
• Communicate governance concepts in business terms and champion trusted data.
