Job summary

Q2Impact seeks a Data Governance Lead to establish enterprise data governance for a DoD Security Cooperation platform, covering FMS, BPC, ICB, IMET, and more. You will build policies, metadata, taxonomy, MDM, and lifecycle processes to enable secure sharing and AI-enabled analytics.

You'll facilitate governance councils, promote data stewardship, ensure compliance with RMF, NIST, and DoD data strategy, and drive data quality and knowledge management across the organization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience establishing enterprise data governance and data stewardship models.
• 2+ years in enterprise data management, governance, or information management.
• Experience with DoD or government programs is a plus.
• Experience using IAM, data catalogs, and metadata management practices.
• Active Secret Security Clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise Data Governance Framework for Security Cooperation.
• Lead governance activities to promote data quality, accessibility, and accountability.
• Define metadata standards, taxonomies, and tagging strategies.
• Establish data quality metrics and dashboards for governance.
• Collaborate with Knowledge Management to improve discoverability.
• Coordinate master/reference data management across systems.
• Review designs to ensure governance compliance in cloud architectures.
• Prepare AI-ready data assets and governance for AI/ML use cases.
• Ensure compliance with RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and DoD data strategies.
• Engage stakeholders through workshops and executive briefings.
