Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a Technical Lead to own and drive end-to-end data governance for the NS enterprise modernization program. You will oversee governance-by-design across Kafka, Databricks, and Collibra, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and data security.

The role requires leading the governance framework, metadata management, data quality, and audit readiness while coordinating governance councils and parallel run sign-offs for successful go-live.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data governance programs and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Collibra, Databricks, and Kafka is implied.
• Strong focus on data quality, metadata, lineage and compliance

Responsibilities

• Own and drive enterprise data governance end to end.
• Lead metadata, lineage, classification, and cataloging in line with policies.
• Govern Kafka topics, schemas, retention, and ownership standards.
• Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and zero data-loss during migration.
• Drive compliance and audit readiness across data platforms.
• Anchor governance councils, stewardship, and issue resolution.
• Integrate governance into DataOps pipelines and platform.
