Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group seeks a Data Governance Lead to support governance, catalog, AI governance, and policy implementation across the enterprise. You will collaborate with business stewards, technology teams, and governance stakeholders to improve data reliability, usability, and trustworthiness of data assets.

You will drive governance maturity reporting, metadata quality, and catalog adoption, while establishing AI governance controls and lifecycle evidence for responsible AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mathematics, economics, CS, or information management.
• 6+ years in data governance, data management, or analytics roles.
• 3+ years in data products, data domains, or critical data assets.
• Excellent SQL knowledge.
• Azure Cloud and Databricks proficiency.
• Experience with AI governance and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support data governance, data catalog, metadata management, and AI governance.
• Collaborate with data stewards, tech teams, and governance stakeholders.
• Develop and promote governance standards, policies, and metadata quality.
• Monitor governance solutions for standards adherence and improvements.
• Drive adoption of catalog, governance practices, and reporting on maturity.
