Job summary

Univera Healthcare offers a Summer College Internship Program—a 10-week paid experience for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns engage in development workshops, work on meaningful projects, and are mentored by managers.

Tracks cover business, IT, actuarial, analytics, and more, with up to 40 hours per week and housing not provided. Interns gain exposure to governance, analytics, and data management while developing professional skills and preparing for post-summer opportunities within

Qualifications

• Ability to work with large data sets and organize information.
• Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document processes and procedures clearly.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with metadata, data quality, data lineage, or data catalogs.
• Project management and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise governance initiatives by assisting with program operations, data analysis, reporting, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement activities.
• Works with a mentor and supports key strategic projects.
• Completes work assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and individual qualifications.
• Performs a mix of technical and/or non-technical tasks that will cover a broad range of business-related projects.
• Creates and delivers presentations at completion of internship.
• Maintain confidentiality and protection of member privacy in accordance with company policies.
• Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.
• Performs other functions as assigned by management.
