Allied Solutions, LLC is offering a Data Governance internship in Saint Paul, MN for rising juniors and seniors to gain hands-on experience. The 12-week program runs May 24th through Aug. 13th, 2027, full-time (40 hours/week) at our St.

Paul office. You will learn governance methodologies and collaborate with data engineering, data intelligence, information security, and business operations teams. You will develop data management skills, work on cross-functional projects, and gain exposure to

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program as rising Junior or Senior in Data Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Willingness to tackle real business challenges and extend classroom experience.
• Experience with data analysis using Excel, Python or R.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate findings.
• Familiarity with data intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data analysis and data quality analysis tasks.
• Review, assess and report findings on data quality issues (integrity, timeliness, accuracy, completeness).
• Collaborate with data stewards and data intelligence team to capture definitions and build business glossaries.
• Research and document best practices for data issue tracking and proactive issue management.
• Contribute to data strategy, privacy, and security efforts with cross-functional teams.
• Work on other projects as assigned.
