Job summary

Talentola is seeking a Data Governance Engineer to join an Agile team working on data governance workflows, Data Contracts, Data products and metadata management. You translate business needs into actionable data outcomes and guide non-technical stakeholders.

You will drive collaboration across Business, IT, Compliance and Data Owners, and strengthen data quality and governance foundations in a complex matrix environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Open Metadata tool experience; strong with OpenMetadata tool, especially Collate.
• Experience with data governance workflows, Data Contracts, Data products, RACI, Ontolgogy.
• Translate business needs into actionable data management outcomes and guide non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data governance workflows and metadata management processes.
• Collaborate with Business, IT, Compliance and Data Owners in a complex matrix environment.
• Support data quality, data stewardship and validation activities as needed.

Job description

As a Data Governance Engineer, you will be a part of an Agile team to work on data governance workflows, Data Contracts, Data products, RACI, Ontolgogy etc., Clarify requirements and guide non-technical stakeholders by translating business needs into actionable data management outcomes

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of Open Metadata tool experience of is a must Technically strong with OpenMetadata tool - especially Collate and has done multiple customer implementations.
• Detailed work experience on data governance workflows, Data Contracts, Data products, RACI, Ontolgogy etc.,
• Clarify requirements and guide non-technical stakeholders by translating business needs into actionable data management outcomes.
• Drive cross functional collaboration across Business, IT, Compliance, and Data Owners within a complex matrix environment. Assess and strengthen foundational practices in Data Quality, Data Stewardship, and Metadata Management, including defining pragmatic templates and workflows.
• Support validation and assessment activities through basic data querying/profiling where required Display Good communication skills and should be able to provide 4 hour overlap with EST timings (~09:30 PM IST) OpenMetaData tool with Collate
• Technically strong with OpenMetadata tool - especially Collate and has done multiple customer implementations Detailed work experience on data governance workflows, Data Contracts, Data products, RACI, Ontolgogy etc.,
