Sciens Software Technologies is seeking a Data Governance engineer with 8+ years' experience, focused on US healthcare and OpenMetadata/Collate implementations. You will translate business needs into actionable data management outcomes, drive cross-functional collaboration, and strengthen data quality and metadata practices.

Expect collaboration with Business, IT, Compliance, and Data Owners, with EST overlap.

Qualifications

• US healthcare experience required.
• 8+ years of experience in data governance.
• 5+ years of OpenMetadata tool experience is a must.
• Experience with OpenMetadata tool - Collate integration.
• Experience with multiple customer implementations.
• Experience in data quality, data stewardship, and metadata management.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable data management outcomes.
• Strong communication and ability to provide 4 hour overlap with EST timings.

Responsabilités

• Work on data governance workflows and data contracts.
• Contribute to data products and governance-related RACI and ontology.
• Clarify requirements and guide non-technical stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Business, IT, Compliance, and Data Owners.
• Assess and strengthen foundational practices in Data Quality, Data Stewardship, and Metadata Management.
• Support validation and assessment activities through basic data querying/profiling.

Role & responsibilities

Data Governance engineer - 8+ years

• US healthcare Experience


• 5+ years of Open Metadata tool experience of is a must


• Technically strong with OpenMetadata tool - especially Collate and has done

multiple customer implementations.

• Detailed work experience on data governance workflows, Data Contracts, Data

products, RACI, Ontolgogy etc.,

• Clarify requirements and guide non-technical stakeholders by translating

business needs into actionable data management outcomes.

• Drive cross functional collaboration across Business, IT, Compliance, and Data

Owners within a complex matrix environment.

• Assess and strengthen foundational practices in Data Quality, Data Stewardship,

and Metadata Management, including defining pragmatic templates and

workflows.

• Support validation and assessment activities through basic data

querying/profiling where required

• Display Good communication skills and should be able to provide 4 hour overlap

with EST timings (~09:30 PM IST)

• OpenMetaData tool with Collate
