Key Responsibilities
Design and own the enterprise metadata architecture using Informatica Data Catalog and related Informatica governance components
Define standards for technical business and operational metadata including lineage impact analysis and metadata enrichment
Integrate Data Catalog with upstream and downstream systems such as Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, MDM, Data Quality, data warehouses and data lakes
Implementation Enablement
Lead implementation of metadata scanning, harvesting and classification across databases, ETL tools, BI platforms and cloud data sources
Configure end‑to‑end data lineage and impact analysis to support analytics, regulatory and change management needs
Enable self‑service data discovery for business users through curated and governed catalog views
Data Governance Quality
Partner with Data Governance teams to integrate business glossary, policies, stewardship workflows and ownership models into the catalog
Support data quality metrics, trust scores and certification processes by linking catalog metadata with data quality results
Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with data engineers, architects, BI teams, business analysts and data stewards to translate governance and discovery requirements into technical solutions
Provide architectural guidance and best practices for metadata‑driven development and analytics
Operations Optimization
Define and monitor metadata standards, naming conventions and lifecycle management processes
Review impact of schema and pipeline changes using lineage and metadata insights before production changes are approved
