  • Experience with Collibra Data Catalog and Lineage modules.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda) and Snowflake.
  • Experience implementing metadata management and data lineage.
  • Knowledge of PII handling and data privacy requirements.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, and data integration.
  • Ability to work in large, cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, implementation, and operation of data catalog and lineage using Collibra.
  • Develop metadata management standards and governance frameworks.
  • Enable end-to-end data lineage visibility across cloud and on-premise.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data is discoverable and trusted.
  • Drive adoption of data governance best practices across teams.
  • Identify and manage PII and sensitive data.
  • Integrate metadata and lineage with AWS-based data platforms and Snowflake.
  • Support data quality, stewardship, and regulatory reporting initiatives.
  • Provide strategic guidance on data governance across cross-functional teams.

Job: Data Governance Collibra Developer

Location: Columbus, OH (Local Candidates Preferred)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Collibra Devloper to lead the implementation and adoption of enterprise-wide data cataloging, metadata management, and lineage capabilities. This role is critical in enabling data transparency, governance, compliance, and trust across modern cloud and on-premise data ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Collibra, metadata management, data governance frameworks, and cloud-based data architectures including AWS and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and operationalization of enterprise data catalog and lineage solutions using Collibra
  • Develop and maintain metadata management standards and governance frameworks
  • Enable end-to-end data lineage visibility across cloud and on-premise platforms
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure enterprise data is discoverable, trusted, and compliant
  • Drive adoption of data governance best practices across teams
  • Identify, classify, and manage PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and sensitive data
  • Integrate metadata and lineage capabilities into AWS-based data platforms and Snowflake environments
  • Support initiatives related to data quality, stewardship, and regulatory reporting
  • Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams on data governance and lineage practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Collibra (Data Catalog & Lineage modules)
  • Solid understanding of enterprise data governance frameworks and best practices
  • Experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, and related technologies
  • Expertise in Snowflake and relational database systems
  • Proven experience implementing metadata management and data lineage solutions
  • Strong understanding of PII handling and data privacy requirements
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques
  • Experience working within large enterprise or cross-functional environments
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large-scale data governance transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to data privacy
  • Certifications in Collibra, AWS, or Data Governance are a plus
