Dow is seeking a Data Governance Analyst-style role titled Business Process Specialist in Midland, MI or Houston, TX. You’ll maintain governance artifacts, improve data quality, document metadata, support stewardship, and apply governance standards across domains.

You will partner with data governance managers and business teams to drive quality and usability of enterprise data assets. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with attention to detail, and thrives working with both

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or military experience at or above U.S. E5 or Canadian rank, or 5 years in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years in data governance, data management, analytics, or related field.
• Foundational governance concepts, metadata, and data quality management.
• Experience working with business and technical stakeholders on data-related efforts.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not available).

Responsabilidades

• Execute established data governance processes, policies, standards, and controls.
• Support enterprise governance initiatives through governance activities and deliverables.
• Follow governance methodologies, templates, and best practices.
• Create, maintain, and update metadata, glossary entries, and data catalog content.
• Document business definitions, data ownership, stewardship, and data lineage.
• Maintain governance repositories and supporting materials.
• Perform data quality assessments and validation.
• Monitor data quality metrics and identify data issues.
• Support root-cause analysis and remediation for data quality challenges.
• Execute testing and validation activities on governed data assets.
• Partner with Data Governance Managers to capture knowledge and requirements.
• Prepare governance documentation and recommendations for review and approval.
• Populate and maintain enterprise data catalogs and governance platforms.
• Support data classification and ownership alignment activities.
• Maintain documentation and metadata for governed data assets.
• Support governance communications, training materials, and awareness activities.
• Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement of governance practices.
