Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to advance enterprise governance initiatives. The role partners with data owners, stewards, and technical teams to deliver high-quality, business-driven solutions.

You will manage data cataloging, master data management, data quality, and data profiling to ensure data integrity and usability across the organization. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in data governance related fields, with 10% travel.

  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, data analysis or related disciplines.
  • Travel: 10%
  • Work schedule: 7 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday; flexibility may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Execute enterprise Data Governance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Promote data literacy and foster a data centric culture across the organization.
  • Ensure assigned data domains comply with governance standards.
  • Advocate change management efforts related to data governance adoption and tool implementation.
  • Develop and monitor data quality metrics and KPIs.
  • Identify data quality issues and coordinate remediation activities.
  • Analyze root causes of data defects.
  • Partner with data owners and data stewards to define business validation rules.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain business glossary terms and data definitions.
  • Document data lineage with technical teams.
  • Maintain metadata within the enterprise data catalog.
  • Define and maintain master data standards.
  • Review master data creation and change requests.
  • Assist with duplicate record identification and resolution.
  • Coordinate business decisions regarding data standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes.
  • Recommend process enhancements and reduce manual work through standardization.

The Data Governance Analyst plays a key role in advancing enterprise data governance initiatives by partnering with data owners, data stewards, and technical teams to deliver high-quality, business-driven solutions.

This position supports the implementation and ongoing management of data governance capabilities, including data cataloging, master data management, data quality, and data profiling.

The analyst ensures governance initiatives are aligned with business requirements, deliver measurable value, and promote the integrity, consistency, and usability of organizational data.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field; or relevant experience. Experience: 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, data analysis or related disciplines Travel: 10% Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Data Governance
  • Execute enterprise Data Governance policies, standards, and procedures

Metadata Management
  • Maintain business glossary terms
  • Create and maintain business definitions

  • Maintain metadata within the enterprise data catalog
  • Ensure metadata remains current and accurate
Master Data Management (MDM)
  • Define and maintain master data standards
  • Review master data creation and change requests
  • Assist with duplicate record identification and resolution
  • Ensure consistency across systems
  • Participate in MDM implementation initiatives
  • Support survivorship and matching rule definitions
Data Catalog Management
  • Support Data Owners and Data Stewards in business metadata within the data catalog
  • Classify data assets
  • Support catalog adoption throughout the organization
  • Collaborate with technical stewards to improve metadata quality
Business Data Ownership
  • Support Partner with Data Owners and Data Stewards to establish accountability
  • Assist business areas in identifying critical data elements
  • Recommend improvements to business processes affecting data
  • Coordinate business decisions regarding data standards
Business Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes
  • Recommend process enhancements
  • Eliminate redundant data collection
  • Improve data capture at the source
  • Reduce manual work through standardization
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned
