Job summary

iCapital is seeking a detail-oriented Associate for the Data Feed Operations team within Data Solutions. The role sits at the intersection of investment operations, data analysis, and technical data management, supporting the quality and reliability of post-trade investment data.

You will monitor data feeds, reconcile investment data, and use SQL/Python to maintain data integrity, while collaborating with technical and business teams in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in data operations or related field
• Advanced SQL skills with relational databases, Snowflake or PostgreSQL
• Experience with APIs, file-based integrations, ETL/ELT
• Experience monitoring data feeds, reconciling data, mapping documentation
• Experience with investment data, positions, valuations, capital activity
• Knowledge of alternative investments/wealth management
• Python for data analysis, validation, automation
• Data migrations or validation in production environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Strong communication across business and technical teams

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound/outbound data feeds, APIs, and file-based integrations
• Reconcile investment data across source systems and outputs
• Investigate data-quality exceptions and coordinate remediation
• Certify completeness/accuracy of reporting data before publication
• Use SQL to analyze relational data and trace data lineage
• Develop controls and automation to reduce manual analysis
• Document feed specifications, mappings, and business rules
• Translate issues into actionable requirements for Product/Engineering
• Participate in testing/certification for feeds and migrations
• Provide status updates on feed health and data quality
• Track operational measures like timeliness, delivery success, and certification status
