Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Data Entry Officer to ensure accurate input and maintenance of merchant data, product catalogs, inventory, and pricing within the Moniebook platform. You will collaborate with Onboarding Specialists and Account Managers to keep data clean from day one, enabling fast go-lives and reliable reporting.

You will contribute to data validation, quality checks, and documentation, while supporting onboarding and cross-functional teams to meet SLA timelines and data standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in data entry, data operations, or similar role.
• Must have completed NYSC or possess a valid exemption/exclusion certificate.
• Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy across large data volumes.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (data cleaning, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
• Familiarity with CRM platforms or POS/back-office SaaS tools.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Input, update, and maintain merchant data, product catalogs, SKUs, pricing, inventory levels, and customer profiles.
• Process bulk data imports from spreadsheets and CSV files, validating format and completeness before upload.
• Ensure records adhere to data standards and naming conventions.
• Prepare merchant accounts ahead of onboarding by populating required data within timelines.
• Review merchant-submitted data templates for errors and resolve gaps before entry.
• Support setup of catalogue structures, tax configurations, and payment settings.
• Conduct checks to identify and correct errors, duplicates, or outdated records.
• Cross-reference data across spreadsheets, CRM, and POS backend for consistency.
• Flag and document data anomalies and route to appropriate team.
• Maintain records of data entry activities and correction history in CRM.
• Document common errors and resolutions to reduce repeats.
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements to Operations lead.
• Fulfil ad-hoc data requests within SLA windows.
