Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Data Entry Operator II to accurately and efficiently enter information from paper, media, fax and telephone using a keyboard and data-entry devices.

You will prepare, label and file records, identify potential issues for escalation, and navigate web browsers and common software to support processing tasks. This hourly role includes MRPT credential considerations and SCA-based benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow policies and procedures.
• Experience in work requiring attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good sense of time management and ability to work under time constraints.
• Understanding of importance of delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Strong sense of customer service.
• Basic computer skills including keyboard use, familiarity with web browsers and MS Office applications.
• Ability to type at minimum 40 wpm.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to perform frequent repetitive motions using fingers, hands, wrists and arms.
• Ability to apply experience and judgment in selecting procedures and sources for data entry.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT credentials; US Citizenship required for MRPT at this location.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently perform data entry of forms and reports specific by assignment area and other forms as directed by supervisor.
• Prepping, labeling and filing records in preparation for document imaging.
• Identifying and submitting potential problems or issues to appropriate level of management.
• Possessing a strong ability to navigate through various computer functions including accessing and utilizing web browsers.
