This position involves entering data, reviewing for errors, and maintaining the accuracy of databases. Candidates with a high school diploma and proficiency in Microsoft Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a data entry operator or office clerk (optional for freshers).
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy (ideally 40+ WPM).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Google Sheets, and data programs.
• Basic understanding of databases.
• Good command of English (written and verbal).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into databases or systems from source documents within time limits.
• Review data for deficiencies or errors, and correct any incompatibilities.
• Maintain data accuracy and ensure completeness.
• Update and maintain information on company databases and computer systems.
• Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations.
• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
• Respond to requests for information and access relevant files.
• Adhere to data confidentiality and security policies.
