As a Data Entry Specialist, you will significantly impact our overall customer experience and satisfaction levels for day-to-day payment processing service delivery. You will utilize strong data entry and attention to detail skills to process payment requests for the products you support. You will be required to achieve several key performance indicators in adherence to the production payment processing operations, such as service levels, manual data entry quality error rate, productivity, quality, and response/resolution time. You will also foster strong relationships with both customers and internal teams to facilitate solutions or meet urgent customer timelines.
Compensation: $27 per hour
Responsibilities
- Enter customer payment data from e-mailed forms.
- Enter data within specified timelines, adhering to productivity standards.
- Ensure all required payment information is complete and update existing data as needed.
- Suggest methods to improve process flow, efficiency, and service experience for internal and external stakeholders.
- Follow standard operating procedures and update onboarding documentation as necessary.
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct inconsistencies, and verify output.
- Comply with data integrity and security policies.
- Meet productivity metrics and goals.
- Contribute actively to knowledge management.
- Communicate effectively with team and management, both written and verbally.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent data entry experience.
- Excellent accuracy in word processing and data entry, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems.
- Ability to manage data confidentiality and follow security practices.
- Strong customer relationship skills and ability to handle escalations.
- Ability to manage high-volume workload with neatness and accuracy; flexible and professional with shifting priorities; excellent organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
