Job summary

Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, is seeking a Temporary Data Entry Clerk/Laborer to support port operations during the 2026 shipping season. The role is on-site with a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation and reports to the Port Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate port shipping logs, performing manual labor, and assisting with concentrate loading activities while adhering to strict safety standards in an outdoor, high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Team player and able to communicate well with others.
• Highly motivated with ability to perform tasks with limited direction.
• Adhere to high safety standards.
• Work day, afternoon, or night shifts as required.
• Work outdoors with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions.
• Perform labor intensive work when required; physically capable of performing the essential functions of the trade.
• Driver’s license preferred.

• Responsible for concentrate load out, boom chute and barge operations.

Role Overview
