The Office of Admissions at Winston-Salem State University (WSSU ) is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join their team! Key Responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerk:
  • Process application documents, telephone inquiries, emailrequests, and other recruitment/application documents into theprospective student database.
  • Serve as a point of contact for the Office of Admissions,providing exceptional customer service by assisting students,families, and staff with questions, concerns, andapplication-related needs.
  • Provide answers and guidance to internal and external staff,answer inquiries from prospective students and families regardingcurrent admissions policies

Primary Function of Organizational Unit

The primary function of the Office of Admissions is to achieve andmaintain the optimum recruitment rates for the University. Inconjunction with this function, the Office of Admissions developsprograms that will market the University and provide access toqualified candidates. Also, it is the goal of the department toenroll students with a profile that equips them to meet thechallenges of the University.
