Job summary

Aston Carter seeks a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support a large customer account migration project in Minneapolis, MN. You will review, update, and validate customer information, perform data cleanup, and communicate changes to customers as data moves into a new ERP system.

This contract role requires 2–4 years of customer service or account support, excellent written and verbal communication, and solid Excel skills to handle large datasets.

About the Opportunity

We're seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support a large customer account migration project. In this role, you'll help consolidate customer purchasing activity into a new ERP system by reviewing account information, updating records, communicating changes to customers, and ensuring data accuracy throughout the transition process.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and update customer account information
• Perform data cleanup including addresses, contacts, and account records
• Support customer account migration efforts within a new ERP environment
• Send customer communications, FAQs, and project updates
• Manage mass email campaigns and track responses
• Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding account changes

What They're Looking For

2-4 years of customer service, account support, operations, or administrative experience

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Basic to intermediate Excel skills (filtering, sorting, updating spreadsheets, working with large datasets)

Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN 55413.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
