Job summary

California Medical Business Services, LLC. is seeking a Data Entry and Payment Posting Supervisor to lead the data entry and billing team at our Arcadia, CA office. This onsite role requires strong supervision of charge entry and payment posting to support clean-claim submission.

The ideal candidate has five years in medical billing, supervisory experience, and proficiency with Windows-based tools. Occasional weekend work may be required for special projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Experience working in a high-volume office or revenue cycle environment.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications and the ability to learn complex billing and practice-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow of the Data Entry team and ensure accurate data entry and timely posting of payments.
• Monitor productivity, quality, attendance, and completion of responsibilities.
• Manage staffing needs, workload distribution, and coverage for the department.
• Train and onboard new employees and monitor progress through onboarding.
• Coach staff, including cross-training and expanding job responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and participate in performance evaluations as appropriate.
• Identify front-end issues and recommend workflow or system improvements.
• Monitor charge-entry workflows and ensure timely processing within standards.
• Ensure charges are processed and billed within seven days when possible.
• Monitor coding files for timely transmission and processing for clients.
