Job summary

Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Posting Supervisor with strong customer service and comprehensive medical billing knowledge. The role is based at our Downtown Los Angeles Headquarters and focuses on billing accuracy, denials, and revenue-cycle optimization.

The position requires five years as a Medical Biller, supervisory experience, and proficiency with payer changes and billing systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience as a Medical Biller/Encounter Representative required.
• Three (3) years of collection and receivable experience required.
• Minimum one (1) year of management/supervisory experience required.
• Understand billing systems and payer requirements; participate in training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Review, troubleshoot, and resolve complex account problems.
• Attend and participate in billing-related training sessions.
• Manage follow-ups and collections of outstanding accounts >45 days.
• Train new payment posting team members and existing staff.
• Manage payment posting team performance, productivity, and assignments.
• Ensure compliance with billing changes and payer requirements.
