Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking a Data Entry Clerk in Saint Cloud, MN, to accurately input data into our billing system for accounts receivable and assist customers at the walk-in counter. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a pay range of $18.00–$20.00 per hour based on experience.

Duties include data entry, answering questions, and supporting daily shipping operations. Qualifications include being at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent preferred,

Qualifications

• Clerical or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Input data into the billing system for accounts receivable purposes.
• Assist customers at the walk-in counter.
• Enter package information using 10-key keyboard and desk top scanner.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone and email regarding daily shipping paperwork.
• Balance and count cash drawer daily.
• Organize billing sheets in numerical order.

Job Summary

The Data Entry department will accurately input data into a billing system for accounts receivable purposes and assist customers in our walk-in counter.

Hours and Wages

• Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-4:00PM
• $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and open walk-in counter daily
• Greet and assist customers with parcels for shipment
• Utilize hand-held pad to enter packages for pick up or inbound scans
• Accurately enter package information into billing system using the 10-key portion of a keyboard as well as a desk top scanner
• Interact with customers via telephone and email regarding questions concerning their daily shipping paperwork
• Balance and count cash drawer daily
• Sort billing sheets into numerical order
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Clerical or administrative experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phone
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
