Vantor seeks a Data Engineering Subject Matter Expert to lead enterprise data solutions across ontology-driven data integration, knowledge graphs, and AI/ML data pipelines. You will guide design, implementation, and governance across structured and unstructured data, ensuring quality and security for mission systems.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and hold an active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
• 12 years experience with advanced degree or 17 years with bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data engineering solutions.
• Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience integrating heterogeneous data sources (structured, semi-structured, unstructured).
• Familiar with cloud-native, containerized data platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of enterprise data engineering solutions.
• Design and optimize scalable data pipelines for multi-source ingestion and transformation.
• Develop data integration frameworks for ontologies, knowledge graphs, and Semantic Web tech.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate mission requirements.
• Design data architectures supporting cloud-native and hybrid environments.
• Establish data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance processes.
• Optimize processing with distributed frameworks and scalable storage.
• Support AI/ML by providing curated data pipelines.
• Develop monitoring, validation, and testing capabilities for data accuracy.
• Produce technical docs, data diagrams, and engineering standards.
• Mentor Government personnel and project teams on data engineering best practices.
