Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and maintain software applications and services that support Object-Based Intelligence mission requirements, enterprise ontologies, and knowledge graph capabilities.

The Software Engineer will collaborate in an Agile DevSecOps environment with ontology engineers, data scientists, and Government stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performance applications that leverage Semantic Web technologies and AI/ML capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must have experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise software applications using Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps practices and Git.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to varied stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and microservices.
• Develop APIs and backend services that integrate with ontologies, knowledge graphs, and semantic databases.
• Implement solutions using Semantic Web technologies (RDF, OWL, SPARQL) for advanced search and reasoning.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and Government stakeholders to translate mission needs into scalable software.
• Develop secure, containerized applications with cloud-native tech.
• Integrate data sources via REST, messaging, and integration frameworks.
• Create tests and support CI/CD pipelines; ensure performance and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and knowledge transfer to Government personnel.
