Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering or data platform development.
• 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
• Experience designing, building, and operating scalable data pipelines and platforms.
• Cloud-native data engineering; Snowflake/AWS preferred; Informatica/IICS helpful.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling; Python; Scala/Java a plus.
• Experience with batch, near real-time, and streaming data architectures.
• Strong data architecture, scalability, reliability, and operational support.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers.
• Design, build, deploy, and support scalable data pipelines and data products.
• Lead discovery and technical planning with business, analytics, AI, and technology teams.
• Manage delivery priorities, capacity planning, and execution across initiatives.
• Design and optimize data assets for analytics, AI/ML, and business workflows across platforms.
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify needs and translate requirements into solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership across data pipelines, orchestration, and cloud platforms.
• Drive operational excellence for production data assets: monitoring, incident response, release management.
• Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and optimize data processes and assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Contribute to and evolve data engineering standards and best practices.
