Sanofi in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact data engineering team. You will design and operate scalable data pipelines, partner with analytics, AI/ML, and business units, and drive platform excellence across global data assets.

You will report to the Head of Data Engineering and shape the team’s strategy while delivering reliable data solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering or analytics platforms, incl. 2+ years leading teams.
• Design, build, operate scalable data pipelines and platforms (Spark/Kafka/Snowflake).
• Cloud-native data engineering with Snowflake/AWS; Informatica/IICS a plus.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling; Python; Scala/Java a plus.
• Experience with batch, real-time, streaming architectures and data mesh concepts.
• Strong data architecture, scalability, reliability, and operational support.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers.
• Design, build, deploy, and support scalable data pipelines and products.
• Lead discovery and planning discussions with business and tech teams.
• Manage delivery, priorities, capacity, and execution across initiatives.
• Develop reusable data assets and optimize data solutions for analytics/AI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify needs and shape approaches.
• Provide architectural leadership on data orchestration and cloud platforms.
• Drive production data asset governance, monitoring, and improvement.
