Building Services 32BJ Benefit Funds is seeking a Manager, Data Engineering under the direction of the Assistant Director, Health Analytics & Engineering. This role leads the Data Engineering Team responsible for the enterprise data warehouse, data pipelines, and governance to support reporting, analytics, and operational processes.

The role requires bringing technical leadership, experience with ETL/ELT, data modeling, and strong collaboration with IT and business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, data integration.
• Experience managing technical teams and complex data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Data Engineering Team through leadership and supervision.
• Technical ownership of the data warehouse, including architecture and pipelines.
• Lead the deployment of tools to integrate data across information systems.
• Develop and maintain data governance practices and QA/QC processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
