Job summary
Disney is seeking a Manager, Data Engineering in Orlando to lead the DDSI team delivering GenAI-powered data solutions. You will guide data lifecycle work—from ingest and validation to ETL/ELT pipelines and data platforms—while shaping governance and tooling.
You will collaborate with business leaders across Disney to translate goals into scalable data roadmaps. You will hire and develop talent, provide performance feedback, and partner with senior leadership to ensure the team is well-staffed
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in technology roles including data engineering
- 2+ years in people management or team leadership
- Experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and agentic data solutions
- Designing and delivering data platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Ability to translate business needs into technical roadmaps
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the DDSI Data Engineering team and set directions
- Scope, plan, and deliver data projects from design to production
- Architect and optimize data pipelines, data stores, and integration
- Collaborate with business and technology partners across Disney
