Job summary

Disney’s Decision Science and Integration (DDSI) seeks a Lead Data Engineer to plan and lead R&D of advanced analytic data solutions leveraging GenAI. You will translate business needs into data pipelines across the Disney portfolio, collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of data pipelines, leading design reviews and hands-on coding in SQL/Python, with Docker/Kubernetes and modern data

Qualifications

<text>7+ years in data engineering with DevOps practices across environments.</text>
<text>Translating scope to technical tasks in data engineering.</text>
<text>Experience building data solutions for advanced analytics.</text>
<text>Experience with GenAI models and data sharing platforms.</text>
<text>3+ years with Snowflake or PostgreSQL.</text>
<text>3+ years with GitLab/GitHub and code deployment.</text>
<text>2+ years with Airflow or similar schedulers.</text>
<text>Strong collaboration in fast-paced teams.</text>
<text>Experience with SQL and Python in data pipelines.</text>
<text>Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.</text>
