Job summary

EY is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Data Engineering to lead our team in designing and implementing cloud analytics solutions. This role requires strong leadership in data architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and client management to deliver high-value analytics projects.

You will guide data pipeline development, governance, and end-to-end delivery while mentoring a team of engineers and collaborating with clients and stakeholders across engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Typically, 4–6 years of relevant experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud data solutions and analytics.
• Strong background in data architecture and design for cloud analytics solutions.
• Experience in leading and managing teams, with focus on mentoring and developing talent.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client management.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstream delivery and ensure quality in all processes.
• Engage with clients daily, actively participating in working sessions, and identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Implement resource plans and budgets while managing engagement economics.
• Design, build, and operate scalable data architecture and modeling solutions.
• Stay up to date with trends to maintain a competitive edge.
