Félix is hiring a Data Engineering Manager to lead our core data engineering squad and oversee the DBA team. You will drive infrastructure initiatives across streaming and batch data environments on GCP, emphasizing AI-enabled automation and scalable architectures.

The role requires hands-on leadership, excellent English communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver impact for a high-growth fintech platform serving Latino communities in the US.

Qualificações

• Proven experience leading data engineering teams with hands-on coding and PR reviews.
• Strong Google Cloud Platform background, especially BigQuery and data processing.
• Practical dbt, Flink or Dataflow experience for streaming and batch data.
• AI-native mindset with interest in automating pipelines and ops.
• Experience managing relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) at scale.
• Excellent communication in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, scale, and mentor a team of Data Engineers and oversee the DBA team.
• Drive infrastructure projects across streaming and batch environments using GCP, BigQuery, DBT, and Flink.
• Champion an AI-first engineering culture and embed AI into pipelines and data access layers.
• Partner with DBA for reliability, uptime, and integration with analytics platform.
• Set high standards for data quality, observability, and cost optimization.
• Align data work with key business decisions and product goals.
