Qualifications

• 6+ years of data engineering experience including 2+ years leading teams
• Design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines and platforms
• Cloud-native data engineering in Snowflake/AWS environments; Informatica/IICS helpful
• Advanced SQL and Python; Scala/Java a plus
• Experience with batch, real-time, streaming architectures and data mesh concepts
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers with strong engineering practices
• Design, build, deploy, and support scalable data pipelines and data products for analytics, AI/ML, and commercial use cases
• Lead discovery and technical planning discussions with business and technology teams
• Manage delivery priorities, capacity, and multiple data engineering initiatives
• Create reusable data assets and scalable data engineering solutions across global platforms
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and shape solution approaches
• Provide architectural leadership across data pipeline orchestration and cloud-native platforms
• Drive production data asset operations, monitoring, incident response, and release management
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize data engineering processes
• Participate in cross-functional agile teams and evolve engineering standards
• Stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and practices
