Job summary

Disney Experiences Technology & Digital is seeking a hands-on leader to drive delivery of modern data products. You will head a team of engineers building pipelines ensuring data freshness, completeness, security, and privacy while aligning with the roadmap for new features that deliver insights and growth.

You will sit in Data Products & Platform within the Technology & Digital organization for Disney Experiences.

Qualifications

8+ years of related work experience with 3+ years in leadership or mentoring engineers.
Strong knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, Advanced Analytics, and Data Science implementations.
Experience with Snowflake and BigQuery; deep Snowflake platform knowledge.
Familiarity with Data Lakehouse architectures and formats (Parquet, Iceberg).
Experience designing or maintaining automated, scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Experience with dbt and Airflow for data orchestration.
Familiarity with data quality tooling and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into well-scoped engineering work.
Contribute to the data product strategy and roadmap and drive tangible features.
Lead and mentor engineers day-to-day while growing the team.
Promote best practices in data and engineering standards.
Serve as a technical resource on delivery practices for engineers and partners.
Ensure data collection and onboarding meet privacy requirements and governance.
