EQT Corporation invites applications for a Data Engineering Intern to join the Completions Services team for a 12-week paid summer internship, gaining hands-on experience with data workflows and operational data management. You will work with engineers to develop foundational data skills, including SQL, Python, and analytics concepts, on scoped projects.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science & engineering, systems engineering, industrial engineering, data engineering or related field; rising sophomore or above.
Some coursework or self-directed experience in Python or SQL.
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new tools.
Team-oriented and comfortable taking feedback.

Responsibilities

Assist with SQL queries and Python scripts supporting Completions data workflows.
Support data lifecycle tasks: data pulls, validation, cleanup, and documentation.
Follow coding, documentation, and data quality standards as part of the team.
Contribute to light code review and testing under supervision.
Document scripts, workflows, and data definitions for team reference.
Gain exposure to Databricks SQL and notebooks.
Support ad-hoc departmental data requests.
Complete a defined summer project and present learnings at internship end.
