Job summary

Everforth ECS in Fairfax, VA seeks a Junior Data Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience with data pipelines and GEOINT datasets during the summer of 2027. You will work with senior engineers on end-to-end data infrastructure supporting AI initiatives.

You will develop, test, and document data processes, collaborate with the team, and learn best practices in data engineering within an active enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience transforming and manipulating data sets.
• Excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Interest in data engineering and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Extract, transform and standardize data to prepare for ingest into ML development environments.
• Assist with the design and development of data services.
• Document data processes and workflows.
• Complete data analyses for leadership in an understandable format.
• Help ensure data quality and accuracy for reliable analytics.
• Support multiple tasks with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
