Job summary

Leidos’ Digital Sector is standing up a new Agile development team to modernize federal IT, building and integrating innovative infrastructure for critical missions. You’ll operate in an early-stage, partially telework role with on-site requirements at a secure Washington, DC facility as the program matures.

You will gather and analyze data, develop self-serve analytics tools, and craft dashboards using Kibana to communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Willingness to complete and maintain customer screenings.
• Current Security+ certification or higher/equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience designing and building data visualizations and dashboards using Kibana.
• Hands-on data cleaning, transformation, and analysis with Python (pandas, numpy), SQL, or R.
• Strong data modeling, ETL, and data pipeline development understanding.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; experience with Git and team environments.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources for accuracy and usability.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and insights addressing operational questions.
• Design and develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Kibana as the primary tool.
• Apply UI/visual design principles to data presentations and ensure accessibility guidelines.
• Translate analytical results into actionable recommendations and present to varied audiences.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and data requirements.
• Refine and maintain data transformation pipelines and ensure data quality.
• Develop and maintain self-service analytics tools and reusable data assets.
• Document data models, logic, transformations, and analytics workflows.
