Job summary

Toyota is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Roswell, NM team. You will own data projects from concept through delivery and collaborate with product and design to ship features end to end.

Qualifications

• Own projects from concept through delivery.
• Interpret data and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Strong time-management skills and a bias toward action.
• Working knowledge of Apache Spark and Jupyter.
• Experience with Model Deployment, ideally near Roswell, NM.
• Leadership experience guiding mid-level initiatives.
• Customer-focused outlook with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Time Series Analysis incident postmortem that stops the Roswell outage from recurring.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ship features end to end.
• Scale Toyota's Pandas services from Roswell pilot to NM-wide rollout.
• Map data flow across Toyota's Prompt Engineering services and spot the leaks.
• Ship Time Series Analysis experiments fast, kill the losers, and double down on what sticks.
• Integrate third-party services and internal tools into the Toyota stack.
• Turn Toyota's Model Deployment on-call noise into alerts that actually mean something.
• Catch the zero-bureaucracy Apache Spark regression in staging before it ever reaches Roswell customers.
