Zusammenfassung

Lowenstein Sandler seeks a Data Engineer to design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines feeding the Microsoft Fabric Data Lakehouse. You will work with the Data Architect to implement bronze/silver/gold layers, develop SQL/PySpark transformations, and ensure data quality and governance.

You will integrate data from core enterprise systems, build semantic models for Power BI, and support analytics, BI, and AI-driven applications in a hybrid Roseland, New Jersey environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Data Analytics, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5+ years hands-on data engineering with production data pipelines.
• Experience with medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold) and lakehouse concepts.
• Strong SQL (T-SQL) and Python/PySpark skills.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML ingestion, and data quality practices.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD for data artifacts.
• Power BI development experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, test, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for the Fabric Data Lakehouse.
• Maintain medallion layers (bronze/silver/gold) for data products.
• Translate data models into physical implementations and semantic models in Power BI.
• Develop data integrations across enterprise systems and APIs.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting.
• Optimize pipeline performance and monitor Fabric capacity.
• Apply data governance, security controls, and lineage.
